Description
INVITATION TO TENDERERS
The City of Surrey (the “Owner”) invites Tenders for interior demolition and renovation located at #100 – 16555 Fraser Hwy Surrey, British Columbia, V4N 0E9 (the “Place of the Work”).
The Work includes the provision of all equipment, labour, disposals, materials and incidentals required to complete all of the Work as described herein these tender documents for 2nd level floor space demolition and renovation at a recreation facility.
The Work includes but is not limited to:
Renovation of over 6,000 square feet of currently vacant, 2nd level floor space previously occupied by a physiotherapy clinic, into multi-purpose spaces for public use, including:• Demolition of existing walls, finishes and an existing interior stair, which is to be decked over to create new floor space
• New entrance area and corridor
• Two new large multi-purpose rooms separated by an operable wall system
• One new small multi-purpose room
• A new kitchen
• Multiple new storage spaces
• A new universal washroom, as well as expansion and/or renovation of existing washrooms
• New IT and Electrical closets
Refer to the project drawings and specifications for a complete description of the scope of the Work and services required.
INFORMATION MEETING:
An information meeting will be hosted by the Owner’s Representative to discuss the Owner’s requirements under this ITT (the “Information Meeting”). While attendance is at the discretion of Tenderers, Tenderers who do not attend will be deemed to have attended the Information Meeting and to have received all of the information given at the Information Meeting. At the time of issuance of this ITT a meeting has been scheduled as follows:

ADDENDA
If the Owner determines that an amendment is required to this ITT, the Owner’s Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the Owner’s website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”) and upon posting will be deemed to form a part of this ITT. It is the responsibility of Tenderers to check Websites for addenda. The only way this ITT may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this ITT or may be relied upon by any Tenderer. By delivery of a Tender the Tenderer is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire ITT, including any and all addenda.
