Description
The Owner (Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine or RDKS) invites proposals for consulting services to
perform an Environmental Assessment and detailed design of leachate treatment system for the
Meziadin Landfill.
Scope of the project includes site visit, review of existing design, operation, and closure plan (DOCP),
environmental assessment and detailed design of leachate treatment system. The environmental
assessment shall include confirming baseline assumptions on site water flow, stream and wetland
classification, confirmation of fish habitat, and review of the surface water and groundwater monitoring
program prescribed by the Operational Certificate (OC).
Request for Proposal (RFP) documents, Addenda or further information will be available electronically
through BC Bid at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and on the RDKS website at
www.rdks.bc.ca/government/rfps_tenders. It is the sole responsibility of the Proponent to monitor these
websites regularly to check for updates.
