Description
Respondents must have the following key personnel: 1) Project Manager and 2) Qualified Forest Professional (RPF) in good standing with the ABCFP practicing in an area for which they are adequately trained; and is experienced in fuel management, Cultural Burn planning and logistics, fire behaviour, ecosystem restoration, contract administration and management, and GIS support. The Proponent shall also have demonstrated previous experience implementing Cultural Burn fuel management planning and implementation where the work/services included one or more contract implementation activities.
Respondents will have experience delivering at least one Cultural Burn fuel management contract of similar scope and complexity in an isolated northern location in the past three years.
Respondents are knowledgeable in working alongside local Land Guardians and have worked and lived within Fort Nelson First Nation’s territory.
Respondents must be certified in the BC Forest Safety Council SAFE Company Program.
Respondents will provide a current CV for each proposed proponent including evidence of professional designation. Submit at least one sample of a signed and sealed Burn Plan and post-burn monitoring report for the primary Respondent.
Respondents will have experience delivering at least one Cultural Burn fuel management contract of similar scope and complexity in an isolated northern location in the past three years.
