Lions Gate Hospital Second MRI Schematic Design Study

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) intends to extend the contract with Kasian Architecture Interior Design and Planning Ltd. (Kasian) for their services as the Prime Consultant/Architect for the Lions Gate Hospital (LGH) Second MRI Project.
The maximum value of this contract extension will be $1,000,000.00 - plus tax. VCH has chosen not to complete a Request for Proposal (RFP) process but negotiate the contemplated contract for the following reasons:
Provide proof showing your experience related to the requirements defined in this Notice of Intent. Only challenges from qualified Consulting firms will be reviewed.

Lions Gate Hospital Second MRI Schematic Design Study

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) intends to extend the contract with Kasian Architecture Interior Design and Planning Ltd. (Kasian) for their services as the Prime Consultant/Architect for the Lions Gate Hospital (LGH) Second MRI Project.
The maximum value of this contract extension will be $1,000,000.00 - plus tax. VCH has chosen not to complete a Request for Proposal (RFP) process but negotiate the contemplated contract for the following reasons:
- Kasian has been providing consultancy/architectural services for the site and project since July 2021.
- Kasian has established working relationships with the LGH project team and broad stakeholders.
- Kasian has knowledge of LGH site and existing infrastructure.
- Kasian is registered and complies with all applicable WorkSafe BC regulations.
- Kasian has Commercial General Liability insurance coverage in an amount not less than $2,000,000.00 inclusive per occurrence against bodily injury, personal injury and property damage.
- Kasian has Automobile Liability insurance coverage on all non-owned vehicles in an amount not less than $ 2,000,000.00.
- Kasian has Professional Errors and Omissions Liability insurance coverage in an amount not less than $1,000,000.00inclusive per occurrence.
Provide proof showing your experience related to the requirements defined in this Notice of Intent. Only challenges from qualified Consulting firms will be reviewed.
