Description
The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) is seeking proposals for GIS Consulting Services to manage a centralized spatial data information system called Lightship. The Project is in collaboration with an integrated multi-agency committee made up of multiple scales of government, non-profit and community organizations. The objective of the project is to utilize the Lightship solution to improve upon collaborative, coordinated efforts to increase wildfire resiliency and the four pillars of Emergency Management in the RDCK. The project will include training on the functionality of the platform, and the work will include establishing and maintaining data structures, automating processes, forms, report templates, notifications, attending committee meetings, communicating with stakeholders to collect various spatial database information, and configuring and managing an internal web map application.
