Upcoming Electric Research Administrative System (eRAS) Opportunity
BCNET is providing early notice of the following opportunity.
BCNET is a not-for-profit, shared services organization that represents the interest of its members – colleges, universities, and research institutes in British Columbia. On behalf of the Alliance of Canadian Comprehensive Research Universities (ACCRU), BCNET intends to post a Request for Information (RFI) to gather general information related to an Electronic Research Administration System (“eRAS”) solution which is currently available in the marketplace. The purpose of this RFI is to determine market capabilities, improve ACCRU’s understanding of potential opportunities to leverage economies of scale for a shared or common eRAS solution for members. Additionally, the RFI is also to obtain high level budgeting information and provide the marketplace an opportunity to comment on their ability to support ACCRU objectives. This enhanced understanding will assist ACCRU in identifying next steps towards the preferred option(s) and a possibility of preparing a potential commercial process.
Established in 2011, the Alliance of Canadian Comprehensive Research Universities (ACCRU) brings together small and medium-sized comprehensive universities from across Canada.
