Fraser Health Authority (FH) intends to enter into an agreement with Apex Consulting for the East End Elevator Modernization Project (E112-00).
The maximum value of this contract will not exceed $75,000 FH has chosen not to complete a public tendering process but negotiate the contemplated contract for the following reasons:
Contractors may challenge this decision by sending an email to Elizabeth Zhu by May 29, 2023– 15:00 hours local time.
Provide proof showing your qualification, work-plan, insurance coverage, and work safe BC clearance letter related to the requirements defined in this NOI. Only challenges from qualified contractors will be reviewed.

Elevator Consulting Services

Fraser Health Authority (FH) intends to enter into an agreement with Apex Consulting for the East End Elevator Modernization Project (E112-00).
The maximum value of this contract will not exceed $75,000 FH has chosen not to complete a public tendering process but negotiate the contemplated contract for the following reasons:
- Apex Consulting is currently on site working on Elevators #5 and are resolving issues with the ground below the elevator pit. They have also started the design stages for the Center elevators.
- Apex Consulting has extensive knowledge of Eagle ridge Hospital, the elevators and design specifications. All of these elevators are critical to clinical and facility operations and patient care. Elevator #3 is our cardiac elevator and is required for Code blue operations.
- Apex Consulting is registered and complies with all applicable WorkSafe BC regulations.
- Apex Consulting has Comprehensive Commercial General Liability insurance coverage in an amount not less than $5,000,000.00 inclusive per occurrence against bodily injury, personal injury and property damage.
- Apex Consulting has Automobile Liability insurance coverage on all vehicles owned, operated or licensed in an amount not less than $ 2,000,000.00.
