Description
The Belleville Terminal Redevelopment Project is located on the traditional territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən People, also known as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. The Project will be delivered by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure and consists of two sequential phases – Phase I and Phase II.
Phase I involves building a temporary terminal using the Steamship building and wharf, as well as the Black Ball Ferry Line building. Phase II involves demolishing some of the existing onsite facilities at the Belleville International Ferry Terminal and building a new consolidated pre-clearance terminal on the existing site.
The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure has outlined a summary of anticipated procurements and their potential conflicts for the Project in an effort to provide potential bidders opportunity to assess their participation from an overall Project perspective.
