The Corporation of the Village of McBride invites tenders for the Airport Rehabilitation Project at
McBride’s airport, Charlie Leake Field. The major work components for this project includes:
- Crack/joint cleaning and sealing on all asphalt surfaces of the runway, taxiway, and apron.
- Apply asphalt emulsion sealer to all asphalt surfaces of the runway, taxiway, and apron.
- Replace taxiway culvert complete with asphalt repair.
- Reapplying all pavement markings on the runway, taxiway, and apron.
- After receipt of Notice of Acceptance, the CONTRACTOR shall provide a Performance Bond for fifty (50%) percent of the CONTRACT PRICE and the Performance Bond shall remain in effect for the duration of construction and the Guarantee Period. After receipt of Notice of Acceptance, the CONTRACTOR shall provide a Labour and Material Payment Bond for fifty (50%) percent of the CONTRACT PRICE. The Labour and Materials Bond shall specify as eligible claimants those who have a direct contract with the Principal or with any SUBCONTRACTOR of the Principal.
