Description
This ITT is an invitational solicitation run via one of BC Housing’s region-specific prequalified rosters for Prime Contractors. This second stage ITT has been posted publicly to enable Subcontractors and/or Trades who are interested in participating in the project to connect with the invited prequalified Bidders listed below. Only the invited, prequalified Bidders listed below may participate in the bidding process and attend the mandatory site visit.

MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING
Bidders must attend a site visit on the specified date and time below:
Date: Thursday July 13th, 2023
Time: 11:00 a.m. PST
Location of Site Meeting: 315 Gordon Mackie Lane, Sicamous, BC
Subcontractor Attendance is Optional.
Site visits begin promptly at the time, date and location specified above.
A sign-in sheet will be provided, and all Bidders are required to sign in. Note that submissions will only be reviewed for those Bidders who have attended and signed the sign-in sheet. No exceptions to this will be permitted.
All questions and enquiries from the site visit must be submitted to the ITT Contact person prior to the date and time as per section 3.2 Timetable.
Representatives of your firm attending a site visit must provide and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
Brief Description of Work
The work includes roofing, a new 4” water service leading to a new water meter room, a new sprinkler system, a new central heat pump as well as new suite HP’s, a new ERV, various electrical upgrades and as further set out at Appendices:
315 Gordon Mackie Lane - The Lodge, is a two-storey, 9-unit facility constructed in 1996. All 9
suites are bachelor suites and are home to various senior citizens. There is also a guest suite, 3
offices, and a board room on the second floor. It is a wood-framed building and is in fair condition
but requires various upgrades/additions to increase the service life and comfortability for the
tenants.

but requires various upgrades/additions to increase the service life and comfortability for the
tenants.
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- New roofing w/ RCABC 10-year roof star Guarantee, contractor to include all QA
- New 4” water service to a new water meter room as per drawing package
- New sprinkler system w/ exposed piping painted to match; repair and paint ceilings affected by the piping
- Fire Alarm System upgrade
- New heat pump units, both one central and for suites
- Provide ventilation for crawlspace w/ new ERV as per drawing package
- Interior and exterior lighting upgrades
- Upgrade exterior doors to exit only doors (lockable) as per drawing package
- Extend perimeter drain around new water meter room
- New bathroom fans in units
- Soffit Repair in one location
