MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING
Bidders must attend a site visit on the specified date and time below:

Subcontractor Attendance is Optional.
Site visits begin promptly at the time, date and location specified above.
A sign-in sheet will be provided, and all Bidders are required to sign in. Note that submissions will only be reviewed for those Bidders who have attended and signed the sign-in sheet. No exceptions to this will be permitted.
Brief Description of Work
Unit B’s previous occupancy was an exercise gym. This updated tenant improvement renovation will facilitate the creation of homeless shelter services in the City of Cranbrook. The old gym space has been re-imagined with bed spaces, washroom and shower renovations as well as common areas.
Upgrades to the HVAC, Electrical, Fire Safety and Security will be completed as well as a new interconnected fire alarm system in unit B and in the adjacent unit A.
A new Fire sprinkler system for the shelter space, Unit B, will be a design / build by the prospective bidders and is to be included in the base bid.
A new roof for the entire building is also required to be included as part of the base bid.
