SFU is seeking proposals from commercially established companies with substantial experience and proven capacity for the provision of Prime and Mechanical Consulting Services of MBC biulding at the Burnaby Campus.
The Maggie Benson Centre (MBC) is a multi-story building of non-combustible construction, roughly 195,000 square feet in size. The structure comprises offices, meeting rooms, a bookstore, a printing station, student common areas, a food court, supporting spaces, and a central atrium complemented by a stairwell. The existing pair of chillers have exceeded their expected service life.
The successful proponent will undertake Prime and Mechanical Consulting services for the project, and will assist SFU in requesting proposals from Electrical Consulting Engineers.
