Description
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Cowichan Valley Regional District (the “CVRD”) to prospective proponents to submit non-binding proposals for Economic Development Strategic Plan as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The CVRD requests proposals from qualified firms/consultants to provide strategic advisory services and professional consulting services to develop a clear and comprehensive Economic Development Strategic Plan (“EDSP”) for the CVRD.
The successful Consultant (the “Consultant”) is expected to have proven expertise in economic development, research, community engagement and consultation, data collection, data analysis, as well as effective strategic planning and information presentation.
The responsibilities of the Consultant will include, but are not limited to:

- Write the Economic Development Strategic Plan;
- Create an action plan; and
- Submit and present Deliverables to CVRD Board.
