    Description
    This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for a Mechanical Contractor for the D494-00 Sechelt South Domestic Hot Water Heat Exchangers Replacement project. The intent of this project is to increase the efficiency of the Domestic Hot Water (DHW) Heating System at Sechelt Hospital while also retaining redundancy through the existing dual-fuel boiler system. The existing aging shell & tube DHW heat exchangers shall be replaced with two (2) new plate & frame heat exchangers (supplied by VCH). The new heat exchangers will be fed by two (2) new high efficiency gas boilers with a cross connection to the existing dual-fuel heating system for redundancy. The two (2) existing DHW storage tanks will also be replaced with new DHW Storage tanks as per the drawings & specifications. The Project is expected to start on October 16, 2023 and substantial completion on November 30, 2020. The anticipated Ready-For-Takeover Date is  December 15th 2023. 
     Eligible Bidders: Only Bidders pre-qualified by the Health Organization in the following discipline may submit a Tender in response to this ITT:
