Land Surveyor Services
for B530-00, Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment Project

Fraser Health Authority (FHA) intends to extend the contract with Underhill Geomatics Ltd. for continued land surveyor services to the B530-00, Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment Project (Project). Underhill Geomatics Ltd. has provided land surveyor services to date. The extension of land surveyor services is required due to Underhill’s very close familiarity with the site and project as well as ability to meet short project timelines for work completion.
The maximum value of this contract award will be in the range $75,000.00 - plus tax. FHA FM and FHA have chosen not to complete an additional competitive process and extend the current contract with Underhill Geomatics Ltd. for the following reasons:
- Underhill Geomatics Ltd. has already completed the role of land surveyor services to date including the preliminary land surveyor services work.
- Underhill Geomatics Ltd. has extensive experience in providing land surveyor services.
- Underhill Geomatics Ltd. has immediate availability of resources to continue the scope of work for completion of the land surveyor services without interruption and with no impact to tight Project schedule.
- Underhill Geomatics Ltd. has extensive and detailed knowledge of the site and Project, existing systems, policies and practices.
- Underhill Geomatics Ltd. has established close working relationships with the Project stakeholders.
- Underhill Geomatics Ltd. carry Commercial General Liability and Professional Liability insurance.
- Underhill Geomatics Ltd. are in good standing with Worksafe BC.
