The District of Oak Bay (the “District”) is requesting proposals from qualified Consultants/Consulting firms to complete an assessment of the provided list of Access Stairs and Ramps to the beaches within the Municipality. Consultants will utilize non-destructive assessment techniques to evaluate each site for their physical condition and the level of urgency to repair.
The objective of this assignment is to collect physical data and perform analysis using best practices for material management and cost analysis for the purpose of developing a prioritized rehabilitation plan and a set of general design conditions based on the relevant governing standards for the District to be implemented based on operational need and capital budget planning.
