Description
Situated in Coquitlam, Product Distribution Centre (PDC) is part of the Ministry of Citizen Services British Columbia. PDC is a Health Canada licensed full-service inventory management and distribution facility established by the BC Government for use by government ministries, crown corporations, government-funded organizations, and federal and municipal governments. PDC purchases products on behalf of government and distributes to programs within government and the described organizations.
Our client(s), British Columbia Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) provides a province-wide service and employs more than 4,300 employees. These employees range from frontline paramedics and dispatchers supporting air and ground ambulances to staff handling inter-facility transfers of patients providing clinical oversight and research as well as corporate services.
The BC Home Birth Supplies Program (HBSP) came into effect April 1, 2016. This is the same date the PDC had the program up and running, available for online ordering. The program is a standardized provincial program for all care providers attending home births to access supplies, medications, and sterilization services. The HBSP also supports accurate and complete data collection for home births for the purposes of provincial and regional planning.
Notice is hereby given that the Province of British Columbia, as represented by the Ministry of Citizens’ Services, Product Distribution Centre is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to McArthur Medical Sales Inc. (the “Supplier”).
