Your submission must be uploaded, submitted, and finalized prior to the Closing Date and Time. We strongly recommend that you give yourself sufficient time and at least ONE (1) day before Closing Time to begin the uploading process and to finalize your submission.
This Request for Supplier Qualifications (“RFSQ”) is an invitation by the Corporation of the District of Saanich (the “District”) to prospective respondents to qualify in accordance with Evaluation of Responses (Part 2) for eligibility to provide Upfitting of Municipal Vehicles as further described in Section A of the RFSQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
The District is issuing this RFSQ to qualify Suppliers with experience to provide professional upfitting services (the “Services”) for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles, including cab and chassis, for various wheelbases, on an as-and-when-required basis for the District in the following nine (9) Service Categories:
It is the District’s intention to rely on the Qualified Supplier Roster resulting from this RFSQ for upfitting services for a period of three (3) years.

- Dump Bodies
- Service Bodies
- Custom Bodies and Accessories
- Vehicle Mounted Cranes
- Bin Truck Equipment and Accessories
- Snow and Ice Equipment
- Valve Exerciser
- Dual Steer Conversion
- Fire & Other Vehicles
- Each Service Category contains multiple requirements as detailed in Annex A
- Respondents may submit to any or all applicable Service Category in their response
- Qualified Suppliers who meet the requirements and conditions set out in the RFSQ will be placed on a Qualified Supplier Roster
- Qualified Suppliers will be contacted on an as-and-when-required basis to compete for the provision of upfitting services through a Roster Competition
- The provision of the Deliverables will be governed by the District’s Standard Terms and Conditions
It is the District’s intention to rely on the Qualified Supplier Roster resulting from this RFSQ for upfitting services for a period of three (3) years.
