Notice is hereby given that the Ministry of PUBLIC SAFETY & SOLICITOR GENERAL is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to OSOYOOS INDIAN BAND DEVELOPMENT LLP. (the “Supplier”).
It is expected that the Equine Program will provide; supervision, instruction, and direction in working with animal care and well-being.
Provide a service that will aid the inmates in behavioral issues and assist them in establishing a bond between the animal and inmate.
Assist the inmate in understanding and addressing some issues surrounding behaviors and their ability to cope with stress.
The program will promote self-growth and personal accountability and that the programs are delivered in a dignified and responsible manner.
Embedded within the care of the animal this program provides a therapeutic accent for inmates.
