Prime/Architectural Consultant Services for High Level Facilities Master Planning

Fraser Health Authority (FH) intends to extend the Agreement for Prime/Architectural Consultant Services High Level Facilities Master Planning with Stantec Architecture Ltd. to include the Mission Memorial Hospital high level facility master plan project.

The maximum contract value is $158,500 plus tax. FH has chosen not to complete a public tendering process but negotiate the contemplated contract for the following reasons:
 

• Stantec Architecture Ltd. is a pre-qualified Architectural firm for Acute Care Projects over $5M and was engaged pursuant to RFP F097-00 MP ERH, DEH, LMH (RFP for Prime/Architecture Consultant Services for High Level Facilities Master Planning) in February 2024.
• Stantec Architecture Ltd. is currently working in a satisfactory and efficient manner with the FH working group and executive steering committee established to develop a series of site master plans.
• Stantec Architecture Ltd. has extensive knowledge of FH’s approach to master planning; has established a good working relationship with the various participants; is currently integrated with the master planning working group; and is able to support delivery of an additional master planning deliverable for Mission Memorial Hospitals within the challenging time constraints imposed (completion Sept 2024), without FH incurring start-up delays, additional management resource, or associated costs.
• Stantec Architecture Ltd. is registered and complies with all applicable WorkSafe BC regulations.
• Stantec Architecture Ltd. has Comprehensive Commercial General Liability insurance coverage in an amount not less than $6,000,000.00 inclusive per occurrence against bodily injury, personal injury and property damage, and an umbrella liability in an amount no less than $5,000,000.
• Stantec Architecture Ltd. has Commercial Automobile Liability insurance coverage on all vehicles owned, operated or licensed in an amount not less than $2,000,000.00.
• Stantec Architecture Ltd. has professional liability insurance coverage in the amount not less than $3,000,000 and Contractors Pollution Liability in the amount no less than $5,000,000.
