Description
The North Vancouver Recreation & Culture Commission (NVRC) is requesting responses to this Invitation to Tender (ITT) for interested firms that can supply and deliver two (2) electric ice resurfacers with charging stations.
The successful bidder will coordinate with the NVRC on the delivery date of the two (2) electric ice resurfacers. The Karen Magnussen CRC electric ice resurfacer can be delivered in 2024. The Harry Jerome CRC electric ice resurfacer will be delivered after May 2025 (exact timing to be confirmed) as the new Harry Jerome CRC is currently being built. The charging stations will be delivered to sites and installed by the supplier or its subcontractor by a qualified technician. The charging station installation at the new Harry Jerome CRC will be coordinated by the NVRC with the on-site construction contractor.
Each electric ice resurfacer will be delivered with two (2) sets of operations manual, one (1) set of maintenance manual, one (1) set of parts manual, one (1) wiring diagram or schematics (if applicable), four (4) sets of keys, one (1) set of spare blade, and any special tools required to service the unit.
The NVRC is looking for two (2) electric ice resurfacers that meet specifications equivalent to an electric Zamboni Model 450 or an electric Zamboni Model 650. The NVRC will select between the two models of ice resurfacers that provide the best fit for the NVRC arena operations.
