Description
The Ministry is seeking to engage a Construction Manager to provide construction management services for the lifecycle and project scope for the construction of a new building at the Columbia Fire Zone in Revelstoke. The construction shall consist of developing a total of 1564 m2 new area (or 16,835 ft²) for BC Wildfire personnel. Municipal Address: 2783 Airport Way, Revelstoke BC V0E 2S3.
The Construction Manager will act as an agent for the Ministry, providing advisory services during the pre-construction phase and acting as a Ministry Representative during the construction phase. The parties intend to enter into the Agreement in substantially the form, including supplementary conditions, set out in Appendix A. The parties to the agreement will be the Ministry and the Construction Manager. The Construction Manager will take direction from the Ministry only.
The construction of the Project will be carried out by a separate contractor, who will subcontract the trades. This contractor will enter into a separate construction agreement with the Ministry and will be managed by the Construction Manager on behalf of the Ministry.
The anticipated term of the Contract is from July 1, 2024 to November 31, 2025
