Notice is hereby given that Capital Regional District (the “CRD”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide design and construction phase services for a term of two (2) years at an estimated value of $300,000 CAD.

In accordance with applicable trade agreements, CRD has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason:
Associated Engineering (B.C.) Ltd. is completing preliminary and final designs on the ultraviolet system and associated system upgrades at the Goldstream Water Treatment Plant and their work is proprietary to delivering the final product.
Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of Shari McCreesh by email to smccreesh@crd.bc.ca before 2:00 pm Pacific Time, July 21, 2022. CRD will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration to each objection.
