Description
The Town of Smithers invites tenders for the Town's annual sidewalk and accessibility program. The scope of this year's proposed work includes approximately 600 lineal meters of sidewalk construction (concrete and red brick), approximately 10 concrete pedestrian letdowns/boulevard crossings, and miscellaneous brick spot repairs.
The tender package is available for download in the 'Supplier Attachments Exist' folder at the top of this BC Bid web page, or by contacting the Development Services Department at the phone number on this webpage. Please note this is an MMCD formatted tender; therefore, not all the required documents are included in the download-able package. Proponents must obtain a copy of the Master Municipal Construction Documents Platinum Edition, Volume 2, 2019. Instructions for how to obtain this volume are included.
Tenders will be publicly opened at the above stated time in the Council Chambers at the Smithers Municipal Office. All tenders will be examined as to their sufficiency and submitted to Council for awarding. The Town of Smithers reserves the right to waive informalities in or reject any or all Tenders or to accept the tender deemed most favourable in the interest of the Town. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
