Description
The City of Castlegar is requesting quotations from qualified contractors to supply the City with options for anti icing and dust control products, including but not limited to Calcium Magnesium Acetate, Magnesium Chloride, and Calcium Chloride, for use as de icing and anti icing agents during the 2026/2027 winter season. The City may consider extending the contract for up to three additional winter seasons based on performance and operational needs.
The proponent will be responsible for providing the City with Anti-Icing Liquid as a de-icing, anti-icing and dust control product for the 2026/2027 winter season. The contract will have the option to extend the working relationship for up to 3 additional seasons. The prospective proponent will delivery and fill a 25,000L tank approximately 8-10 times throughout the season depending on winter conditions.
