Description
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Corporation of the City of Nelson (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for 2026-P-05 Facilities Energy Study as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
The City of Nelson is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to perform energy studies on City owned facilities to quantify energy, emissions, and utility cost reduction opportunities. This project will identify decarbonization pathways for the Public Works Yard, Police/Library, NMAG, and Youth Centre that supports the implementation of the City of Nelson’s climate action plan, Nelson Next, and the City’s Facilities Capital Renewal Plan.
The total budget for this project is $150,00.00 plus GST. Proposals exceeding this value will not be considered in this competition.
It’s the City intent to have this work completed on or around February 28, 2027.
