: Emergency Operations Centre and Emergency Support Services Training and Exercises

The District of Tofino is seeking proposals from qualified Proponents experienced in emergency management and training. Recent experience in creating and conducting training sessions and exercises for Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) and Emergency Support Services (ESS) that are technically sound, clear, and reflective of local knowledge is preferred.

The project aims to design and deliver in-depth training sessions for the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), covering essential functions such as management, operations, planning, logistics, and finance. Additionally, the project will implement practical exercises to enhance participants' knowledge, skills, and confidence in emergency response. The West Coast ESS team will receive specialized training in using the Evacuee and Registration Assistance (ERA) tool, with a full-day session that includes both classroom learning and practical application in running a reception center. Scenariobased exercises will be developed to ensure realistic and effective emergency preparedness.
