    Description
    Notice of Intent
Sechelt Hospital DDC Migration to EcoStruxure
    Document Number: 5597NOI

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) intends to complete the migration of the Sechelt Hospital Continuum system to EcoStruxure.
The existing DDC control system at Sechelt Hospital is approaching end of life and replacement parts are no longer supported. The health organization’s operations require that the work take place in 2024 to reduce the risks of failure.
The contractor and the estimated value of the work will be:
    • Houle, 5050 North Fraser Way, Burnaby, BC V5J 0H1
    • $98,963 plus GST

The work includes migration of the Sechelt Hospital Continuum system to EcoStruxure for the entire site.
VCH has chosen to direct award the contract for the following reasons:
    • The majority of the site is currently operating on the proprietary Houle Continuum platform.
    • The scope of this project is to replace the front-end graphics and modules of this system. Only Houle front-end graphics and modules would be compatible with the back-end infrastructure in place at this site currently.

Contractors wish to challenge this decision are to email the undersigned by November 14, 2024, 15:30 PST.
Provide proof showing your ability to meet the requirements and project timeline defined in this Notice of Intent. Only challenges from qualified electrical contractors will be reviewed.
