Description
The project consists of replacing the sanitary main and water main along the 500m stretch from the intersection of Graham Avenue and Sewage Treatment Plant Road to the tie-in at the City of Terrace's sewage treatment plant. The upgrade to the sanitary line is necessary to accommodate the City’s future capacity needs, as the current infrastructure is not sufficient to meet predicted demand.
The existing sanitary main is a 500mm diameter Asbestos Cement (AC) pipe, installed in 1965, and will be replaced with a 750mm PVC pipe.
