2024 Notice of Participation
The Canadian Free Trade Agreement stipulates that government procuring entities making a procurement by participating with a buying group, when the procurement is subject to Chapter 5 of the agreement, are to post their participation at least annually. Additionally, the procuring entity is to advise where the tenders of the buying group are made available to the public.
A buying group means a group of two or more members that combines the purchasing requirements and activities of the members of the group into one joint procurement process. Buying groups include cooperative arrangements in which individual members administer the procurement function for specific contracts for the group, and more formal corporate arrangements in which the buying group administers procurement for group members.
The City of Kelowna, by way of this notice, is stating its participation with a trade agreement compliant buying group and with the Canadian Airports Procurement Association to procure the following goods and/or services.
Potential suppliers wanting to view the tendering opportunities of the buying group, there may or may not be a current opportunity at the time of this notice, please refer to the information below for posting locations.
