Fraser Health Authority (FH) intends to enter into an agreement with Apex Elevator Consulting Inc. for the ERH Elevator 5 Modernization Project (E112-00). The additional upset contract value is $10,000 with $85,136.30 completed for the maximum contract value of $95,136.30 - plus tax. FH has chosen not to complete an additional competitive process but intends to Direct Award and negotiate the contemplated contract for the following reasons:
 Apex Elevator Consulting Inc. is currently the Elevator Consultant for the Project (ERH Elevator 5 Modernization Project) with the majority of the project complete and they have the background on resolved issues with the ground below the elevator pit. Apex Elevator Consulting Inc. has extensive knowledge of Eagle ridge Hospital, the elevators and design specifications.  All of these elevators are critical to clinical and facility operations and patient care. Apex Elevator Consulting Inc. is registered and complies with all applicable WorkSafe BC regulations. Apex Elevator Consulting Inc. has Professional Liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000, and Commercial General Liability insurance of $5,000,000.

Provide proof showing your experience related to the requirements defined in this Notice of Intent, qualifications, experience, workplan, insurance coverage, and WorkSafe BC clearance letter. Only challenges from qualified consultants will be reviewed.
