Tender F181-00 BCC Victoria – Birch and Arbutus Linac Replacements

This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for the BC Cancer Agency - Victoria and is planning to replace the existing linear accelerator(s) for the Arbutus and Birch vaults.

Renovations will be required to the vaults and the adjacent control rooms to accommodate the new equipment. Scope includes replacement of base frame as well as new Identify camera system at each room, as well as an interior finish renovation to noted areas that includes new millwork, floors and ceilings. 

Start of Construction is estimated:
Late August 2025

Phase 1:
Arbutus: Late Aug- Dec 2025
Operational Contingency Period:
December 2025 – early April 2026

Phase 2:
Birch: Late April -Mid Aug 2026

Ready for Takeover: Mid November 2026
