Description
BC Timber Sales, Boundary Field Team has 112 hectares of various types of Mechanical Site Preparation to be completed on 10 different Treatment Units in the Fall of 2025.
Treatment Boundary ribbons have not been established on any of the Treatment Units due to the amount of area that has been typed as greater than 35% side slope. The operator will need to determine what areas can be safely treated. A final deliverable of this contract includes the GPS of the Operator’s completed areas, or ‘Avenza tracks’, for example, this is mandatory. These GPS tracks will be utilized for payment purposes. A weekly production rate of 15 hectares is expected for the duration of the contract.

Deadline for receiving questions is 12:00 pm on September 1, 2025. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to BC Bid by September 2, 2025.
Tender submissions must be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the tender package.
If your bid deposit is in the form of cash, money order, certified cheque or bank draft, you will not be able to e-bid. See allowable submission delivery method(s) above. Also see Conditions of Tender for acceptable bid securities.
The lowest priced or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
Unverified bid results will be posted to BC Bid after tender opening and once awarded the contract award results will be available on BC Bid.
