Notice is hereby given by the Corporation of the City of Vernon (“the City”) of its intent to purchase an assortment of Siemens Canada Ltd. PLC products from E.B. Horsman & Son over a period of two years to provide required resources for the Vernon Water Reclamation Centre (VWRC).
E.B. Horsman is the British Columbia, Canada exclusive distributor of Siemens Industrial Automation products. It is an integrated relationship that also provides after sale technical support to the VWRC facility.
The PLC upgrade purchases will commence in January 2023 and proceed on a two-year installation schedule. Product purchases will have an approximate value of $455,000.00 (inclusive of applicable taxes) for the term.
The City did not call for Vendor proposals for the following reasons:

- E.B Horsman is the authorized distributor for the Vernon, BC, Canada region.
- Contract Pricing has been optimized working with E.B Horsman and Siemens Canada.
