for C289-00 New Surrey Hospital & Cancer Centre Project

Fraser Health Authority (FHA) intends to extend the contract with Cornerstone Signage & Design Limited for Wayfinding compliance consultant services for the New Surrey Hospital & Cancer Centre (NSHCC) Project.  The extension covers the DD100, IFC phase, as well as the review required leading into the substantial completion stage.
The additional contract value is up to approximately $37,000.00 with $35,910.00 completed for the maximum contract value of up to approximately $72,910.00, plus tax.  FHA has chosen not to complete a Request for Proposal (RFP) process but negotiate the contemplated contract for the following reasons:
 

Cornerstone Signage & Design Ltd. has been providing Wayfinding consultant services in developing the requirements for the project since August 2021. 

Cornerstone Signage & Design Ltd. has been acting as Wayfinding compliance Consultant as part of the Owner’s Advisor team for the NSHCC Project since April 2022.  
 

Cornerstone Signage & Design Ltd. has established working relationships with the NSHCC project team and broad stakeholders. 

Cornerstone Signage & Design Ltd. has knowledge of NSHCC site requirements. 

Cornerstone Signage & Design Ltd. is excluded from the Design Build procurement process for the NSHCC Project. 

Cornerstone Signage & Design Ltd. is registered and complies with all applicable WorkSafe BC regulations. 

Cornerstone Signage & Design Ltd. has Commercial General Liability insurance coverage in an amount not less than $5,000,000.00 inclusive per occurrence against bodily injury, personal injury and property damage.

Provide proof showing your experience related to the requirements defined in this Notice of Intent. Only challenges from qualified Consulting firms will be reviewed.
