Description
This Request for Supplier Qualifications (“RFSQ”) is an invitation by BC Transit to prospective respondents to qualify for eligibility to provide Information Access and Privacy Support Services as further described in Section A of the RFSQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”).
BC Transit is a Crown Corporation of the province of British Columbia responsible for coordinating the delivery of transit services in the province outside the Metro Vancouver area. Its mandate includes marketing, planning, funding, constructing and operating, either directly or indirectly, in over 130 communities throughout the province.
As a Crown Corporation, BC Transit is subject to the provisions of the BC Government Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA). BC Transit’s Privacy, Information Management and Access team is responsible for meeting our legislative obligations under FOIPPA.
The Privacy, Information Management and Access team requires additional support on an as and when needed basis to manage the volume and complexity of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests and Privacy needs including, but not limited to, Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), requirements development, submission evaluation, and breach and incident response.
BC Transit is seeking qualified professionals for the provision of these services. Respondents may apply separately for Privacy support services or FOI support services, or both. The objective of this RFSQ is to pre-qualify suppliers that meet the minimum requirements for a pre-qualified suppliers listing. All suppliers who meet the minimum requirements will be invited to enter into a Master Agreement.
This RFSQ will not commit BC Transit to an exclusive contract.
PLEASE NOTE: This is the second posting of this RFSQ. As per section 1.3 Prequalification Process: New suppliers will be permitted to apply for qualification and inclusion on the Qualified Supplier Roster at any time. BC Transit will consider new applications and refresh the Qualified Supplier Roster on a semi-annual basis and will notify applicants of the outcome. The same qualification requirements, evaluation process, and Master Framework Agreement that are set out in this RFSQ will apply to the ongoing application process.
This RFSQ will be posted and closed twice annually to accommodate this process. If you have an agreement with BC Transit that resulted from this RFSQ, you do not need to resubmit unless requested by BC Transit.
