RFQ 09072026 - Canadian Turner Construction Company For the VCC Culinary Arts Project

Canadian Turner Construction Co. on behalf of Vancouver Community College are requesting a proposal for your relevant
Scope of Services as outlined in the following RFQ. Canadian Turner Construction Co. (“Turner”) intends to conduct a twostage
procurement approach for the construction of the VCC Culinary Arts Project. This first stage Request for Qualification
(the “RFQ”) is to short-list qualified Respondents to participate in the next stage. A second stage solicitation may be issued to
only those successful Respondents that are shortlisted in this RFQ based on the criteria set out.
This RFQ is an invitation for Respondents to provide their detailed response to Turner in order to afford Turner the
opportunity to gauge such responses and evaluate each Respondent’s expertise and financial capacity to construct the
Project. Turner is under no obligation to enter into discussions, negotiations, or any agreement of any form at this stage.
Turner may, in its sole discretion, subsequently issue a formal Invitation to Tender (ITT) in Stage two. Turner will not be liable
for any costs, damages, etc. incurred by the proponents for their work in creating and submitting a response to this RFQ.
Upon completion of Stage two, it is Turner’s intent to enter into an agreement with the successful contractor using Turner’s
standard Form 36 Subcontract.
