SCA27AG101 - Native Plant Sector Development - NOI

This project will support the development of Indigenous-led native plant nurseries by building capacity across the sector. Working from the perspective of an emerging Indigenous nursery initiative, the project will facilitate continued peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, identify common priorities and gaps, and support activities related to business development and the creation of accessible production resources. 
Building on an existing network, the project will engage approximately 6–12 First Nations-owned nursery operations that are in the start-up or early stages of development, and subject matter expertise as required. Activities will focus on strengthening business and operational capacity, supporting sector-wide networking and knowledge exchange, developing and sharing resources and protocols, and gathering input to inform future phases of Indigenous-led nursery development in the native plant sector.
