Description
The Capital Regional District (CRD) invites sealed tenders from qualified bidders to haul CRD and Contractor supplied refuse and recycling bins from the Port Renfrew Transfer Station (17055 Parkinson Road, Port Renfrew, BC) to designated facilities within the Victoria Metropolitan Area for processing or disposal.
Proponents may be awarded follow-on work without a competition.
The term of the Contract is for five (5) years, commencing January 1, 2027 and terminating on December 31, 2031.
Digital copies may be downloaded for no cost from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca without registration. Vendors are encouraged to check BC Bid regularly for updates and not rely on e-mail notifications, as e-mail is inherently unreliable and subject to interruptions.
The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
Closing Date and Time: 3:00PM (local time) on August 25, 2026.
An optional pre-tender site meeting will be held at 17055 Parkinson Road, Port Renfrew at 11:30 am on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Tenderers are recommended to visit the site to ensure that they have satisfied themselves of everything and of every condition that could affect the execution of the work. Tenderers are encouraged to make enquiries to satisfy themselves of the work requirements.
