Description
As part of the Regional District of East Kootenay’s (RDEK) Rural Transfer Station Optimization Plan, the RDEK is seeking proposals to complete a waste characterization audit of rural transfer stations. The objective of the waste characterization audit is to provide information to the RDEK for future decision making and to increase diversion activity and initiatives.
The Waste Characterization Audit will include 15 rural transfer stations. Proponents should plan to collect data over a 2-week period during sometime between September 14 and October 23, 2026.
