INVITATION TO TENDER
NOTE: This tender was posted June 9, 2022 to the CRD Business Opportunities website.
Sealed Tenders, plainly marked on the envelope "Tender for VICTORIA HEALTH UNIT ELEVATOR MODERNIZATION, CONTRACT 13.22.01-01" will be received by the Contracts Coordinator, Facilities Management & Engineering Services of the Capital Regional District at their offices at 625 Fisgard Street, Victoria, British Columbia up to 2:00:00 p.m. local time on July 28, 2022 at which time they will be opened “in private”.
The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include, but is not limited to, the following:
Provide all labour, materials, products, equipment, services, warranty and associated works necessary for the modernization of the elevator in compliance with all relevant codes and specifications.
Proponents may be awarded follow-on work without a competition.
Digital copies may be downloaded for no cost from www.crd.bc.ca/about/contracts-rfps after registering as a vendor and from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca. Vendors are encouraged to check CRD Business Opportunities and BC Bid websites regularly for updates and not rely on e-mail notifications, as e-mail is inherently unreliable and subject to interruptions.
The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
A non-mandatory (but highly recommended) pre-tender site meeting will be held at 1947 Cook Street, Victoria, BC Thursday July 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
Tenderers are recommended to visit the site to ensure that they have satisfied themselves of everything and of every condition that could affect the execution of the work. Tenderers are encouraged to make enquiries to satisfy themselves of the work requirements.
