Description
City of Delta invites bids form qualified electrical contractors licenced by TSBC, to undertake LED lighting conversions and control upgrades for the hockey & curling arena at South Delta Recreation Centre.
Date and Location of Site Visit:
2:30pm, May 5, 2026, South Delta Recreation Centre, 1720 – 56th Street, Delta BC V4L 2B1
Attendance at the site visit is not mandatory.
Consideration with this assignment is the ability for the successful bidder to initiate and complete the work within the prescribed installation window for both arenas. Install timelines are as follows:
Curling Rink:
Access to site: August 3, 2026
Substantial Completion: August 14, 2026
Ice Rink:
Access to Site: June 29, 2026
Substantial Completion: July 10, 2026
Dates could be subject to change based on operational needs of the facility but the successful bidder will have sufficient notice of any potential schedule change.
