3245 - Albert/Fourth Complete Street (Pine to Milton)

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City for qualified Proponents to submit proposals for the construction of part of the VIU Bikeway, which will connect Vancouver Island University (VIU) with downtown Nanaimo. The project includes water main replacement work, concrete culvert complete with fish baffles, fish gravels, and headwalls; vegetated Sierra Slope retaining wall; PVC sewer main; roadworks consisting of concrete curb & gutter, concrete sidewalk, asphalt cycling facilities, line painting, street signs, bus stops, and street lighting.The Successful Proponent will enter into negotiations and should negotiations prove successful, enter into a City of Nanaimo MOESS Contract.
