NOTE: Suppliers who are currently on the List of Qualified Suppliers based on the previous RFQ (EDU18-111-RFQ and EDU18-111-RFQ-001) do not need to re-apply. The Issue Date of this opportunity is February 18, 2022 as this posting was previously in the legacy BC Bid system.

Open School BC (OSBC) specializes in the design, development, and delivery of online educational content and training. The BC FOODSAFE Secretariat (http://www.foodsafe.ca) contracts with OSBC to develop and host a suite of online FOODSAFE courses in its Moodle learning management system.
FOODSAFE is a food safety training program useful for anyone working in the food service, food retail, or food processing industries. FOODSAFE teaches people how to handle food safely in order to prevent food from being contaminated. The program was developed in British Columbia as a joint initiative between government agencies and the food industry and is the primary food safety training in BC and other provinces in Canada.
FOODSAFE courses require the support of an online instructor. OSBC is seeking respondents who have been certified as FOODSAFE instructors by their regional BC Health Authority. The role of the instructor is to support students having difficulty with the course and to ensure they complete the final assessment.
The purpose of this Multi-Use List Request for Qualifications (MULRFQ) is to identify qualified Consultants. There will be a total of 2 Lists of Qualified Suppliers which are listed below:
1. FOODSAFE Level 1 Online Course Instructors
2. FOODSAFE Level 2 Online Course Instructors
Based on the review of the MULRFQ Responses, two (2) lists will be created of Qualified Suppliers who, on an "as, if and when requested" basis, may be contacted directly, or asked to compete, to enter into a Contract(s) for provision of the services.
Additional information can be found within the MULRFQ document.
