Compliance and Enforcement Digital Services Transformation
Solicitation number 7437
Publication date
Closing date and time 2022/11/07 17:00 EST
Description
The Compliance and Enforcement (C&E) Division within the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy is the lead agency responsible for promoting a coordinated, sector-wide approach for C&E activities. The Ministry works collaboratively with other ministries and agencies to ensure the protection of BC’s environment, natural resources, and public safety through the effective and efficient enforcement of BC’s laws and regulations.
Currently, C&E is challenged across the natural resource sector (NRS) as government is unable to holistically track and manage complaints and information generated by the public, other agencies and partners such Indigenous Guardians. Furthermore, when conducting subsequent investigations, officers rely on multiple legacy systems and manual processes that limit collaboration across agencies, create inefficiencies, require duplicate data entry, and increase opportunities for errors.
Together with the Ministry’s Service Transformation Branch (STB), the Province is seeking a Contractor to create a cross-functional agile Product Team, alongside Ministry resources, to support the development, integration, and implementation of an integrated sector-wide solution to manage complaints and investigative case files. This work is part of a Ministry-wide commitment to embedding digital service delivery with a human-centred, and data-driven focus.
The Services will be provided by the successful Proponent on an hourly and “as, if and when needed” basis.
Further details as to the scope of this opportunity and the requirements can be found within this RFP.
A supplier meeting will be held before the Closing Date and Time at:
October 13, 2022 @ 10am PST
The meeting will be an online Teams Meeting. Please email NRIDSContracts@gov.bc.ca for meeting invite.
