The qathet Regional District (the Owner) has engaged a Construction Manager, MKM Projects Ltd. to coordinate
and manage the proposed construction of the new Resource Recovery Centre and Commercial Transfer Station
located in Powell River, BC.
The Construction Manager is issuing Invitation to Tender - Trade Contractors as follows:
o Mechanical Contractors – Plumbing, HVAC & Fire suppression
All tenders must be received before 2:00 pm on October 20, 2022, at the office of the Construction Manager –
MKM Projects Ltd. e-mailed submissions are acceptable. Tender documents will be issued upon registration. All
bidders are required to register with MKM Projects Ltd their intent to bid this project. Registrar: MKM Projects
Ltd. email: info@mkmprojects.ca . Registered bidders will receive addenda notifications, scopes of work
and bid forms. All addenda notices will be posted on BC Bid. Bidders responsible to check for notices. It is
recommended that certain trades arrange to view the site and familiarize themselves with the existing site, the
surrounding areas, and roadways to coordinate any deliveries. Please note the lowest or any tender will not
necessarily be accepted.
