Description
The ministry currently operates its greenhouses at the Cowichan Lake Research Station using the Argus Classic Control System. This system has reached obsolescence and new hardware is no longer readily available hence the need to replace the greenhouse control system. Concurrently some of the electrical and mechanical infrastructure of the greenhouses has reached its operational end of lifecycle and needs to be replaced and or reinvigorated. The work described in the tender attempts to do both in greenhouses 2 through 5.
The ministry requires the works described herein to be completed before March 29 2023, The Argus control system has been specified by the electrical consultant due to its compatibility with ministry systems.
