Notice is hereby given that the Ministry of Attorney General is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to Quickscribe Services Ltd. (the “Supplier”).
The high-level details of the contemplated contract are generally described below.
Quickscribe provides online access to a comprehensive British Columbia legislation research database service. This includes a collection of frequent historical legislation point-in-time snapshots dating back to 1998, the ability to download an entire piece of legislation (or just one section of legislation) as a single PDF, legislative current awareness services, annotations from experts, supplemental notes, and a strong search interface. Quickscribe is able to offer current consolidations of newly amended Acts and regulations faster than free options, such as BC Laws.
The Province believes, but cannot strictly prove, that no other vendor is able or willing to complete this work within the required budget and timeline.
