Description
BC Parks is seeking a team of qualified professionals to complete design work for the potable water system at Paul Lake Provincial Park near Kamloops, BC. Water is supplied from an existing surface water source; however, due to poor water quality a groundwater well has been drilled and it is BC Parks’ intention to switch to the new groundwater source. Water chemical analysis from the groundwater well shows elevated levels of Manganese and Iron in the sample. BC Parks wishes to upgrade the existing water treatment system to supply water from the new groundwater well and provide adequate Manganese and Iron removal in order to achieve levels consistent with the Canadian Drinking Water Quality Guidelines.
