The Ministry of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation (the Ministry) facilitates the development of sustainable, competitive, and safe energy and mineral resource sectors for British Columbians. Within the Ministry, the Energy Decarbonization Division (the Division) leads policies, programs, and regulatory frameworks for the decarbonization of buildings, transportation, and fuels as part of CleanBC commitments.
The Division is comprised of the Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM) Office and three branches; Low Carbon Fuels, Clean Transportation and Built Environment. The Division requires a Talent Acquisition and Classification Services (the Services) provider to lead the development and administration of job evaluation plans, development of job descriptions, provide advice and guidance on classification and exclusion related work, and establish and implement recruitment practices aligned with policies and legislation that support inclusive recruitment of the top talent required to administer important government programs.
The Division has approximately 50 vacancies to be filled. There are Twenty (20) vacancies that are at various stages in the recruitment process and approximately 34 are new positions that are expected to be developed and filled.
